SHADOWLANDS RACE 3 SERIES STANDINGS
Winter Wipeout was race 3 of the Shadowlands Winter Trail Series and we have reached the mid point with three races left to go. Following the Wipeout there are many changes to view as well as a load of fresh new blood that could easily make progress in the standings. Let’s have a look.
FEMALE OVERALL
There is no getting away from the dominance of Rachel Malthouse in the overall category as she cemented her place at the top of the standings with a third win in three races to sit on 390 points. Emma Leigh is closest with 311 points and not tracking too far behind are Eden Isabella Huntley and Georgia Campbell who are turning up every week and getting the job done. There are a lot of new names on there who could make swift progress if they enter some or all of the remaining races.

MALE OVERALL
The titanic battle between Graham Malthouse and Andrew Armin could not continue as Graham was not at the Wipeout and Andrew blew the field away and now has a strong lead to go into the second half of the series. Interestingly it is the MV40 leader on Andrew’s tail now and ready to pounce if there are any slip ups. There are a whole host of people who could move into that third place which makes the next race very interesting.

Andrew Dancer is another who has bagged three wins in a row and now sits on maximum points in category. Cast your peeps on Gavin Francis though who keeps Andrew honest with his own 314 points. Third place downwards is open for anyone to challenge in race 4.

Hats off to Spencer Booth who came back from injury just before Christmas to use his military mindset and turn up every week to get races finished. He could not follow up on last weeks category win but he massively extended his overall series lead. Every place underneath is there to be fought over.

Osprey Run winner Tony Brown has clocked on the fact he can snaffle this series by getting a toe on the line. He built on that with a solid second at the Wipeout. All to play for.
