Flowing rivers, steep sided trails, mud, tree branches leaning in from all sides and burning legs. Come to expect this and more from Hell in the Woods. This beautiful woodland and fell area will have your body working hard to keep up with the many challenges it has in store. Stretch those legs along the rocky crags whilst looking out north to the vast bulk of the Cheviots and south to the jutting ridge of Simonside. Some parts of the course are known to be a little wet underfoot and you need to grit those teeth and get through it. In the woods you’ll find tight and twisty trails which require your full attention. Once round this course you’ll have an amazing sense of achievement. Have you got what it takes?
